Shawntelle Nesbitt
Shawntelle Nesbitt, a former elementary teacher, designs educational programs that address issues of identity, community, human rights, and social justice. Her curriculum materials include teacher resources for Second Story Press' best-selling Holocaust Remembrance and First Nations Series for Young readers as well as guides designed for their Kids' Power and Women's Hall of Fame Series. Her materials have been integrated into schools in Canada and the United States. She also conducts in-service professional development seminars for educators related to social justice and human rights education.
