Bear Meawasige is the pen name for Kurt Wilson, an Ojibwe and Scottish author and a member of Serpent River First Nation. He lives in the Algoma District of Northern Ontario, where his wonderings over his dual-natured ancestry ferment among the wild surroundings to become stories of worlds that might have been.
