Second Story Press has a new logo!

Posted by Second Story Press on

We are thrilled to share our new look! Our boldly revitalized logo is a celebration of new beginnings under the leadership of owner Phuong Truong, as well as a nod (or perhaps more of a wink!) to former owner and Co-Founder Margie Wolfe. The logo features a pair of striking red reading glasses, which many will recognize. “The shape of the glasses is modelled after a pair that Margie used to wear,” says Phuong. “They are a tribute to her incalculable contributions to the company and her incomparable fashion sense.” The logo was designed by our very talented in-house Production Manager, Laura Atherton. Thank you, Laura!

Since its founding in 1988, Second Story has been dedicated to publishing feminist-inspired books. We still believe that books influence readers to help create a more just, equitable, and compassionate world. As we step into the future, we are committed to publishing stories that are feminist, inclusive, and empowering while discovering new ways to break down barriers, inspire readers, and enact change. Our logo reflects our transition forward while honouring what’s come so far. Please let us know what you think of our new look!
